Overview

For standard injection systems, monitoring and adjusting dispensing parameters is a challenge, especially in multi-gel valve installation applications. Due to embedded human-machine interfaces (HMIs), installers often place standard jet controllers on panels far from dispensing stations, which greatly inconveniences users with parameter adjustments. Therefore, we designed a compact, plug-and-play 24VDC jet controller mounted on DIN rails, which can be connected, controlled, and monitored via the human-machine interface at the dispensing station.

The PICO Nexμs injection controller from

Norsen EFD can be used for backend control of the PICO Pμlse XP injection

dispensing valve via PLC or other plant controllers. It communicates via

industrial Ethernet using standard protocols such as PROFINET® and

EtherNet/IP™, allowing you to easily control the injection system from your

chosen human-machine interface.

The PICO Nexμs controller is compact and

uses DIN rail mounting, allowing manufacturers to easily install multiple

controllers within existing cabinets, saving valuable production space. Without

an embedded touchscreen interface, operators can control these devices using

PLCs or other plant controllers and connect them to HMIs such as personal
