The groundbreaking Select Coat SL-1040 ultrasonic cleaning station—programmed via EasyCoat 6 software—uses cavitation bubbles generated by high-frequency pressure waves to agitate the solvent. This thoroughly removes material buildup from nozzles and needle tips without the need for mechanical brushing. It provides powerful yet non-invasive cleaning that protects your equipment while removing deposits inaccessible to "static" cleaning methods. You can decide when to clean the valve: before idle periods, at the start of a program, after idle periods, or on a periodic schedule. The cleaning cycle initiates when the coating head enters the cleaning station at a designated time; high-frequency pressure waves agitate the solvent to clean the valve.
The ultrasonic cleaning station features a self-regulating solvent system that automatically maintains solvent levels. When levels run low, the system issues a software notification for replenishment. A user-defined "grace period" allows the system to continue operating while the operator completes the refill.
